Personal thoughts: Taylor Swift's lyrics are always so honest and are famously written about guys she's dated in the past. She is a true romantic and I admit that I like her music very much.

Personal thoughts: When I heard this song it made me think of girl bands like Veruca Salt and the Go Go's. Selena Gomez has a bit of an edge to her music, which I can appreciate. This is pop, but with a bit of edginess and a bit of alternative rock.

Personal thoughts: I heard this song while I was at a Disney Maltshop in Hollywood with my boyfriend, and I can say we aren't into this type of music, but I can understand why younger kids like tweens enjoy it. It is light, poppy music that they can have fun to. Listening to the lyrics, which I tend to do with all music, and there isn't much depth to this song. It is catchy and fun to dance around to.

Personal Thoughts:
I had only heard this song once, when Justin Bieber performed it on Saturday Night Live. Listening to the lyrics I can understand why so many young girls are into this song. It calls to young girls and feelings when you like someone, maybe even think you're in love for the first time, as he puts it. Many young people think they will be with their first loves forever, and this song talks about those feelings.

Thoughts:

This is a really catchy song by Katy Perry that makes a person think about when they were young and in love for the first time and all the feelings you had. I think a lot of young teenagers can relate a bit, with new romances blooming and having crushes on eachother.
